Maybe we should go ahead & start a forum for TF2? Looks like a lot of us will be playing it.

I also can't believe that Dr. L left out the news that you can now preorder the orange box and if you do so you an start playing TF2 on the 17th of September. THAT'S MONDAY!!!!

Do you have to get the orange box pre-order to get the beta invite for TF2 or can you just buy EP2.? I would rather not buy what I already have hehe.

It looks like you need to get the orange box in order to get into the beta. Unless you REALLY don't want something it's a hell of a deal getting the 5 games for $45 even if you already have HL2 and Ep1. It's $30 just to get TF2 separate.

The pre order things off steam, so, you prolly couldn't give it to anyone without giving away your steam account.

And I think the version of HL2 in this bundle is an updated version with better graphics or somethin'. Plus you get portal. PORTAL! MAN!

edit. nvm, just noticed the thing at the bottom of the page, you can give away the hl2 and/or ep1 in your orange box to someone.

yeah but you get portal with EP2 !!

I'm essentially paying 15 extra bucks for a beta invite and subsequently getting 15 bucks worth of game that I've already purchased

Bah, I read somewhere months ago that Ep2 was being shipped with portal and TF2.. I guess that came to pass by way of the Orange Box. Boooo

Maybe my brother would like to try Hl2... darn you valve!

And spot, we're talkin 2 trips to Chic Fil A with that extra 15 bucks.... 2 TRIPS MAN!!
