When are you planning on buying the second one? The general rule of thumb is buy one NICE card over two "ok" ones. Plus if you start with a great graphics card (or just below top of the line - aka: 400 bucks or less) you'll be able to pick up a second one down the road once it's cheaper before you'll actually need to anyway.

So @ 150 x 2 - You could get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814121624 which should smoke anything you throw at it right now anyway + not having to deal with running two cards AND you could add another one down the road (can't see why you'd need to).

That said, I've always bought nVidia cards so I can't vouch for radeon.

Here's a good resource: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gam ... ,3107.html

Put 100.00 on Lakers tonight to win 300.00. Pray/cross fingers and hope to cash out for 400 total. Then go buy the card Weap linked. Hurry dude.

Don't mess with 2 cards, ever. It's not ever necessary and you will rage when only the bottom half of your screen is working in arenas. I've smashed a Num Pad of a keyboard over it. My wife was proud.

Thanks guys for your input. Your right Why buy 2 when you can just spend the money and buy one boss card and if needed in the future to upgrade just buy a second one when the price drops. GTX 670 is what i decided to go with. I think that should last me for a while.

That'll last you years. :) I have the 580 and i'm still smoking everything that's out there right now. The other day i had GW2 on full graphic settings, Tera on full graphic settings, and The Secret World full graphic settings all running at the same time and was alt-tabbing smoothly between all three and the 670 is an upgrade from the 580 :P

Obviously the other components in your machine will matter too but that card will be great.
