Electric vehicles sound nice, but are still years off from sounding like a good purchase. Battery technology is still not quite there. Environment is one factor to consider when purchasing these vehicles. That and service stations are somewhat sparse so you can't take the vehicle far from home. If you are thinking for the environment/gas money then hybrids are still the way to go for now.
